As plantation sector in India is still unorganized and mostly handled by unprofessional nurseries, most of the time farmer faces loss of money and time. As a consequence he loses confidence and hope in plantation. This left the farmers with no other options but conventional farming.
When we established our company we had in our mind that we had to first build confidence amongst the farmers. To do that our team did great research in the field. We traveled length and breadth of India to talk to farmers and experts. We took guidance from some renowned government research institutes. We did even our own field trials many times. Then we established a protocol for sandalwood plantation which could replicate the success to the farmers.
